Welcome to Sara Musee Rahgoshay
In Ancient Persian, the word "Sara" means the house or the private residence.
Sara Musee Rahgoshay is a foundation with cultural, scientific and educational goal, created by Professor Mohammad Rahgoshay, Doctor in Geology, son of departed Ali Akbar Rahgoshay.
This family house, built in Badrood, in Iran, at the beginning of the XXth century on an approximately one hectare's ground, has been renovated and rehabilitated.
The architecture of this traditional Persian residence takes into account the climatic conditions of the area and optimizes the comfort and the living conditions during the four seasons of the year, thanks to a natural system of air-conditioning. It is located in "Koocheh Bagh", in the street which leads to the orchards of the city.
Dr. Mr. Rahgoshay praises in his poem, composed in Persian, the four essential components which are the water, the ground, the air and the fire and reaffirms his affection to his roots and to the city of Badrood, where he grew.
