Every year, there is a varied program of festivities, marked by various breaks of traditional and pop music, songs, karaoke and interludes of poetry giving the rhythm to the symbolic parade of the traditional "sofre" tablecloth of Norooz(children were dressed with symbolic objects of this tablecloth) or the rhythmic dance of Haji Firooz, around the basin above which seven balloons swung, symbolizing the journey of our ethnic dolls all over the world and whose baskets each presented one of the seven elements of the tablecloth of Norooz, for the delight of officials, tourists, adults, teenagers and the younger ones.

Many thanks to Mr. Said Yazdanmehr for the coordination of all these programs in his capacity as Cultural and Artistic Director of the Museum and to Mr. Ebrahim Mahian, Director of Public Relations of the Museum and presenter who joined Dr. Amir Ahmadi, a renowned official presenter of Iranian television to animate the festivities of these two days, by actively involving all the volunteers.
The Mayor, the Municipal Council, the Heads of National Education, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Poets Association of Badrood have responded to our invitation and honored us with their presence. Mrs Arjomandi, official presenter of Radio Fareng or "Radio Culture" ,enchanted us with her melodious voice by reading Hafez's poems.
We have also brought back to the taste of the day an old tradition of throwing a pot of chipped earth from the top of the roofs and replacing it with a new one, filled with fresh water, to start the new year!
According to tradition, tea and cakes were offered to all !
