Mr and Mrs Rahgoshay briefed Dr Mohammad Taheri, First Counselor and Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy, on the aims and achievements of the Museum, and in particular his intriguing project "The story of Badrood told to children by rag dolls ".

A couple of these dolls have been offered to the Embassy as well as a calligraphy painting by Mr. Said Yazdanmehr, a native of Badrood and Master in khat nastaliq,which is one of the many Iranian calligraphies but certainly the most noble. It is one of the styles of Persian calligraphy attributed to Mir Ali Tabrizi, originally from Tabriz, in the fourteenth century. Used for poetic literature and manuscripts, nastaliq is widespread today in Iran, in Afghanistan and in Pakistan.
This painting represents the Eiffel Tower, the poem is by Dr. Shariatie.
Dr Taheri expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for the continued commitment of the Museum to safeguard and promote Iranian culture.
